If you're looking for a big, comfortable sedan that doesn't look or feel like anything else on the road, the 2016 Chrysler 300 should be at the top of your list. It combines classic American style and a wide range of engines with the latest safety and entertainment technology. Sound like your kind of luxury sedan?

There are a number of large sedans on the market, but the 2016 Chrysler 300's combination of luxury and attitude helps separate it from the pack. Indeed, when the original 300 made its debut back in 2005, it was about as brash as a car could get without actually standing up and slapping you in the face. The 2016 300 is a bit more subtle, with a stronger emphasis on refinement and upscale appointments, including numerous upgrades introduced last year. But there's still something vaguely imposing about this distinctly American sedan.

The 2016 Chrysler 300's assertive styling is familiar, yet fresh.

Part of the 300's appeal also comes from its rear-drive platform (all-wheel drive is optional) and choice of V6 or V8 power. The V6 delivers adequate acceleration and good fuel economy, while the V8 provides 300 owners with the sound and fury of a good old-fashioned muscle car, albeit suitably tamed for premium-sedan duty. No matter the engine, the 300 boasts an impressively quiet and smooth ride quality. The 300S model comes with a sport-tuned suspension that can be optionally upgraded with beefier components for 2016, and although nothing can disguise the 300's bulk, we're impressed by how this big sedan stays planted to the road. Like a heavyweight boxer, the 300S can stick and move when it needs to.

The 300's character may be unique, but you'll find comparable size and comfort in front-drive competitors like the Buick LaCrosse, Chevrolet Impala and Toyota Avalon. The Avalon boasts smooth V6 power and an available hybrid powertrain, while the current Impala is a vastly improved American rival. Often overlooked, the LaCrosse continues to impress with its quiet, supple ride. The Hyundai Azera and Kia Cadenza, near-twins from South Korea, also compete well, while the rear-drive Hyundai Genesis may cost more but delivers a convincingly uptown experience. All are appealing picks for a large sedan, but if it's luxury with attitude that you're after, none can match the 2016 Chrysler 300.

The 2016 Chrysler 300 is a full-size sedan available in four different trim levels: 300 Limited, 300S, 300C and 300C Platinum.

Standard equipment on the base 300 Limited includes 17-inch alloy wheels (19-inch with all-wheel drive), heated mirrors, automatic headlights, LED daytime running lights and taillights, a rearview camera, keyless entry and ignition, cruise control, dual-zone automatic climate control, leather upholstery, heated eight-way power front seats (with four-way power lumbar adjustment), a tilt-and-telescoping steering wheel and 60/40-split folding rear seatbacks. Technology features include an 8.4-inch touchscreen interface, Siri Eyes Free, Bluetooth phone and audio connectivity, voice controls, WiFi hotspot access and a six-speaker sound system with an auxiliary audio jack, a USB port and satellite radio.

Standard on every 2016 Chrysler 300 is an 8.4-inch touchscreen infotainment system with user-friendly controls.

The 300S comes with the Limited's equipment plus an additional 8 horsepower and 4 pound-feet of torque for the standard V6 engine, 20-inch "hyper black" alloy wheels with performance tires (19s with AWD), a sport-tuned suspension (RWD only) and steering calibration, a dual sport exhaust, remote start, unique black-out styling elements, LED foglights, sport front bucket seats and a 10-speaker Beats Audio sound system. An optional performance suspension exclusive to the 300S features stiffer springs, performance-tuned steering and bushings, larger sway bars (V8 only) and upgraded tires.

Opting for the luxury-themed 300C adds the following to the 300 Limited's standard equipment list: 18-inch alloy wheels (19s with AWD), a comfort-tuned suspension, remote start, LED foglights, additional chrome exterior accents, an auto-dimming driver-side and rearview mirror, a dual-pane sunroof, LED cabin lighting, a heated power-adjustable steering wheel with wood and leather trim, heated and ventilated front seats, heated rear seats, driver memory settings, a power rear window sunshade, a navigation system, HD radio and a six-speaker Alpine audio system.

Building on the 300C is the 300C Platinum, which adds 20-inch wheels (rear-drive only; AWD models stick with 19-inch wheels), unique exterior trim, a touring-tuned suspension (same as the Limited), adaptive xenon headlights, power-adjustable pedals, heated and cooled front cupholders, upgraded leather upholstery, an upgraded steering wheel and a 19-speaker Harman Kardon stereo (which deletes the power rear window sunshade).

Many of the upper trims' features are available on the lower trims as stand-alone options or via various packages. Notable extras include the base Limited's 90th Anniversary package, which adds unique badging and trim (including a special splash screen for the infotainment display), remote start, the dual-pane sunroof and the navigation system. Available on all but the Limited trim is the SafetyTec Plus package, which includes puddle lamps, front and rear parking sensors, automatic high-beams, automatic wipers, lane-departure warning and prevention, adaptive cruise control, blind-spot monitoring, rear cross-traffic detection and a forward collision mitigation system with automatic emergency braking (it also adds an auto-dimming driver-side mirror to the 300S).

Should you be considering a stint in the taxi business, the Livery package (Limited only) contributes such items as chrome mirror housings and door handles and a four-year/150,000-mile extended warranty.

All 2016 Chrysler 300 trims start out with a 3.6-liter V6. It produces 292 hp and 260 lb-ft of torque except in the 300S, where it squeezes out 300 hp and 264 lb-ft of torque. An eight-speed automatic is standard, as is rear-wheel drive. All-wheel drive is optional.

The eight-speed automatic transmission is operated via this unusual rotary knob.

In performance testing, a rear-drive 300C V6 went from zero to 60 mph in 6.8 seconds, which is about average for a V6-powered full-size sedan. An all-wheel-drive 300C V6 needed 7.1 seconds.

EPA-estimated fuel economy for the V6 is a respectable 23 mpg combined (19 city/31 highway) with rear-wheel drive and 21 mpg combined (18/27) with all-wheel drive.

Optional on all but the base 300 Limited is a 5.7-liter V8 good for 363 hp and 394 lb-ft of torque. An eight-speed automatic and rear-wheel drive are standard. Fuel economy drops to 19 mpg combined (16/25).

Standard safety equipment on the 2016 Chrysler 300 includes antilock brakes, traction and stability control, front side airbags, side curtain airbags, a driver knee airbag, a rearview camera and active front head restraints. The standard Uconnect Access system includes automatic crash notification, on-demand roadside assistance, remote door unlocking and stolen vehicle assistance, while the optional SafetyTec Plus package (offered on all but the 300 Limited) adds forward collision warning and mitigation with automatic braking, lane-departure warning and prevention and a blind spot monitor with rear cross-traffic alert.

The Insurance Institute for Highway Safety gave the 300 its top rating of "Good" in the moderate-overlap frontal-offset, side-impact and roof-strength crash tests. Its head restraint and seat design also earned the IIHS's top rating of "Good" for whiplash protection in rear impacts.

During testing, a rear-wheel-drive 300C V6 took 122 feet to stop from 60 mph in a simulated panic stop. That distance is about average for the class of vehicle, though we noted significant brake fade after repeated hard stops. A heavier all-wheel-drive 300C with less grippy tires took 133 feet to stop from 60 mph, one of the longest distances in the segment for this test.

The 2016 Chrysler 300 glides down the road with the smooth, substantial feel of a big Mercedes-Benz sedan. That's not entirely coincidental, as some aspects of the 300's suspension design can be traced to the previous-generation Mercedes E-Class (back from when Mercedes owned Chrysler). The 300 remains unruffled even on heavily rutted pavement, though the ride becomes firmer with the 300S's sport suspensions or any of the numerous 19- and 20-inch wheel designs. Depending on your local driving conditions, you may want to go with smaller wheels. Aside from the 300's compromised rear visibility, which is an inevitable consequence of the car's high beltline, small windows and thick rear pillars, it's hard to find fault with how it drives.

Although the 300's base V6 engine is adequate, we love the muscular thrust of the optional V8.

While we think the big V8 best fits the 300's persona, the standard V6 is a decent performer in its own right, and it's also pretty fuel-efficient with rear-wheel drive. Either way, the eight-speed automatic is smooth and responsive. Around turns, the Chrysler 300's bulk is inescapable, but this sedan nonetheless feels planted and secure. That's especially true of the sportier 300S, which is firmer and more disciplined in spirited driving. You won't notice a handling difference between the rear- and all-wheel-drive models, so the choice there comes down to whether you want AWD for winter driving.

Although the inside of a Chrysler 300 may not feel as upscale and plush as a European luxury sedan, it has quality furnishings for a sedan in this price range and it's definitely a good place to spend some time. The cabin is full of rich finishes and extensive soft-touch materials, and the various trim levels add visual flair with upgraded leather and two-tone color schemes.

On the technology front, the standard 8.4-inch Uconnect touchscreen interface is one of our favorites, pairing large buttons and crisp graphics with a logical menu structure. New features for 2016 include drag-and-drop functionality, Siri Eyes Free and a do-not-disturb function. We also appreciate the 300's diverse array of audio options, including an Alpine system, a Harman Kardon system, and of course the thumping Beats Audio setup.

The 2016 Chrysler 300's interior is generously equipped and trimmed with generally high-quality materials.

Given the Chrysler's ample proportions, it should come as no surprise that there's plenty of room inside for occupants of all sizes. The adjustability of the driver seat and tilt-and-telescoping steering wheel is particularly generous, while the rear seats are both spacious and supportive. Compared with other large sedans, though, the middle rear seat isn't as comfortable or useful due to the rear-drive 300's transmission tunnel hump.

Luggage capacity is average for a large sedan, checking in at 16.3 cubic feet, but the rear wheelwells intrude on trunk space a bit and may limit loading depth for larger items.

Chrysler’s new 300 sedan can be summed up with a few choice words. Comfortable, quiet and powerful, the 300 offers plenty of gusto, even from its base V6 engine. The available 363-horsepower Hemi V8 delivers heart-stopping acceleration, although we’re still not thrilled with the way the 8-speed TorqueFlite automatic transmission manages gear changes. It pauses too long in some cases and doesn’t downshift fast enough in others. Straight-line performance is outstanding in the 300, but on models other than the 300S, cornering is not its most admirable quality. Although the 300 can easily outmaneuver a Toyota Avalon or Hyundai Azera, it’s no match for the Chevrolet SS or Dodge Charger. Somewhat improving matters is a Sport mode standard on the 300S and 300C Platinum that tweaks the response from the steering, throttle and transmission shift points.

REAR-WHEEL-DRIVE LAYOUTPurists love a car driven by its rear wheels, but in today’s family-sedan market such a creature is almost impossible to find. The 300 gladly sends power to its rear wheels, freeing the front wheels to focus solely on the mission of steering.PREMIUM FEATURES, NON-PREMIUM PRICEFor its roughly $ 33,000 price tag, the 300 comes packed with features. Even the most basic model includes an excellent 8.4-inch UConnect touch screen, heated front seats and leather upholstery.

Faithful to its raison d'etre, the 2016 Chrysler 300's 5-passenger interior is comfortable and roomy. At over 40 inches, rear-seat legroom is especially commendable. The driver's seat is a great place to work, and higher trims add convenient features like a power-adjustable steering wheel and heated/ventilated seats. Front-seat passengers, though, may feel crowded by the hump that houses part of the 300's powertrain. At over 16 cubic feet, the 300's trunk is large, and the rear seats fold in a 60/40 split for added cargo flexibility. Don't fear if you can't initially find the gear selector. It's actually a space-saving rotary dial.

Over the years the 300 has softened from the brooding toughness it exhibited a decade ago. This latest generation is not as blocky, with a front end that's more tapered than its snub-nosed predecessor. The 2016 300's exterior design has evolved to include a new grille showcasing a "floating" winged badge, a more sculpted front fascia, and an updated rear with LED taillights. The more sporting 300S models have blacked-out elements that aim to convey an imposing presence. One aspect that remains constant is the 300's high beltline, an element that maintains aggressive elegance.

In addition to the 8.4-inch touch-screen display with Chrysler's easy-to-use Uconnect information and entertainment system, all models come with a snazzy 7-inch driver-information display between the analog tachometer and speedometer. The base 300 Limited also includes dual-zone climate control, 12-way-power driver's seat, keyless entry, dash-mounted analog clock and 17-inch cast aluminum-alloy wheels. Entertainment is provided by a 6-speaker AM/FM/satellite radio with USB input and Bluetooth streaming. Higher trims come with rearview camera, dual-pane panoramic sunroof, finer-grade leather interior, heated and cooled front seats and heated and cooled cup holders, navigation and power-operated rear sunshade.

A variety of packages and individual options is available for the 2016 Chrysler 300, some varying across the Chrysler's four trim levels. Among them are upgraded audio systems by Alpine, Beats or harman/kardon. Optional safety and driver-assist features include adaptive cruise control, blind-spot monitoring, forward-collision warning and lane-departure warning. Traction-enhancing all-wheel drive is available across trims on V6 models. In addition to more aggressive interior and exterior design cues, the sportier 300S models come with paddle shifters and performance-tuned suspension. The Platinum trim is loaded with quilted Nappa leather seats, hand-sanded wood accents and 20-inch wheels.

The 2016 Chrysler 300 comes with the highly lauded 3.6-liter Pentastar V6 as standard across all four trims. In 300S models it has slightly more power – 300 horsepower vs. the usual 292. AWD is optional with this engine. Available on the three higher trim levels is a 5.7-liter Hemi V8 engine good for 363 horsepower. Both engines are connected to an 8-speed automatic transmission. The V6 is rated up to 31 mpg highway, commendable for such a large car. The powerful V8 is markedly lower, achieving a high of 25 mpg. Cars with either engine can run on regular unleaded, though mid-grade 89 octane is recommended for the V8. With either engine the 300 is rated to tow up to 1,000 pounds.3.6-liter V6292 horsepower @ 6,350 rpm300 horsepower @ 6,350 rpm (300S sport model)260 lb-ft of torque @ 4,800 rpm264 lb-ft of torque @ 4,800 rpm (300S sport model)EPA city/highway fuel economy: 19/31 mpg (RWD), 18/27 mpg (AWD)5.7-liter V8363 horsepower @ 5,200 rpm394 lb-ft of torque @ 4,200 rpmEPA city/highway fuel economy: 16/25 mpg

The 2016 Chrysler 300 has a Manufacturer's Suggested Retail Price (MSRP) starting at $ 32,890 for a Limited model. At the other end of the spectrum, the top-line Chrysler 300 Platinum edition begins at $ 43,440. Adding all-wheel drive to V6 models is an additional $ 2,500. The rear-drive-only Hemi V8 option is an extra $ 3,000. Fully loaded, a Chrysler 300 can hover near the $ 50,000 mark. At its starting price, a new Chrysler 300 is several thousand more than a Ford Taurus and Chevrolet Impala, and less than the Toyota Avalon and Hyundai Azera. Before buying, check the Kelley Blue Book Fair Purchase Price to see what others in your area are paying for their new Chrysler 300. On the resale front, the big Chrysler's value has traditionally not held up as well as that of the Avalon, Azera or Impala.

Chrysler 300 Overview and History

In 2014, the Chrysler 300 got refreshed, being first unveiled at the Los Angeles Auto Show the same year, highlighting six decades of ambitious American ingenuity through iconic design proportions inspired by 1955 and 2005 models. The SRT8 version of the new Chrysler 300 was revealed at the 2011 New York Auto Show, equipped with the 6.4 392 Hemi engine used by other SRT vehicles. Thanks to 470 hp available low down in the rev range, the muscular sedan accelerates from 0 to 60 mph in just over 4 seconds. The car is lower, angrier, equipped with a body kit and a sports exhaust. It rides on stiffer suspension and stops better thanks to Brembo's big brake kit.
In terms of genesis, Chrysler is almost synonymous with an unwanted premature detonation. Amidst the depression of 1921 and the great collapse of 1929, when most car producers were facing extinction due to drastic decrease in sales, lack of resources and investors, a small company would try to make its way to the auto shows and into the American citizens' garages. Despite the economic meltdown that drove investors away and locked-down companies faster than a second Ice Age, the US auto market was mainly divided among two powers: the ever expanding GM and Ford.

The sum of such horrific conditions would have normally drove away contenders, but Walter P. Chrysler thought otherwise. Determined to get an equally slice of the market share pizza for himself, he exhibited a handsome car at the 1924 New York Auto Show. The automobile was none other than the Chrysler 70, the model that would drag the Chrysler name to he Pantheon of American car builders.

However, Chrysler wasn't born as Chrysler (from the company's standpoint). Facing a rapid and possibly permanent dissolution, the two initial companies held by Walter P., Maxwell and Chambers, merged to form a new entity that would later rub shoulders with its competitors at the time. The 70 model had an instant success that allowed the newly formed corporation to expand freely, unabated by the competition's efforts and much wider rage of automobiles.

The Chambers name was dropped, whist Maxwell was re-branded as a Plymouth. By 1931, the Plymouth brand had already become a fierce competitor in the small car segment and was insistently knocking on Ford stronghold's door, yelling to make room or evict the place. Although Ford was basically partying due to the high sales registered by their model A, the more advanced Plymouth did far better. Sporting hydraulic brakes, more flowing body lines and  a “floating power”engine, the Plymouth cast an awfully large cloud of doubt over Ford's headquarters.

The improvements brought by the Plymouth became so popular that other producers started using them as well. Citroen would later use Chrysler's patented “floating engine” technology that had the great advantage of reducing engine vibrations through the use of three rubber mounts that separated the engine from having direct contact with the chassis.

Chrysler did so good the following years that by the end of the 30's it had already surpassed Ford and moved to a comfortable second position. Almost unknowingly, Chrysler became a titan. The time to wrestle the no. 1 car manufacturer was near and Chrysler carefully readied its match.

However, what was designed as a model of crushing beauty was not well received by the American public. The 1934 Airflow model, a gorgeous curvy sparkling beauty failed to make an impact and consequently sales dropped faster than CBS dropped “The Will”.

Funnily enough, the public was not touched by a car that was way ahead of its time, at least as far as the bodywork was concerned. However, poor sales were efficiently countered once Chrysler released the Imperial model. Large, powerful and luxurious, it was an instant hit and catered for the need of a stand-out motorized social status statement, as well as a reliable day to day ride.

As soon as World War II was over Chrysler had entered a sales numbness, focusing more on research and engineering improvements rather than holding the company's position as a top car industry leader. The post WW II days brought along some significant changes in auto design and shape, with a legendary tail fin craze initiated by Ford and GM.

In response to the existing trends, Chrysler's automobiles became longer and wider and sacrificed performance and reliability for looks. This happened because of a shift in the consumers' perspective who came to prefer style and exterior features over practicality and quality. The by know well established Chrysler products were removed to make way for a new range of flashy cars that failed to climb to the height of the precedent line-up. In doing so, Chrysler was pushed back to the third place once more.

By the beginning of the 60's, Chrysler made a comeback with the introduction of the spectacularly enduring, fast and well balanced 300-F. Though some drivers complained about the vehicle's great size, its performance was hard if not impossible to contest. The machine could develop 400 hp and its acceleration was phenomenal.

Once the modern times arrived, Chrysler proved its versatility and changed once with the automotive industry, delivering quality vehicles for an ever increasing mass of enthusiasts. Models such as the Sebring, 300M, 300C and PT Cruiser, a vehicle conceived as a blend of modern technology and retro style elements, managed to keep Chrysler among the top choices within US borders. Unlike other American car brands, such as Cadillac, Buick or Lincoln, Chrysler has received a great deal of attention overseas as well. During the 90's, the company merged with Daimler-Benz AG and formed Daimler Chrysler, which is currently a world leader in transportation.

2016 Chrysler 300 Consumer Reviews

Limited 4dr Sedan AWD (3.6L 6cyl 8A)
A beautiful vehicle at a great value
I test drove Cadillacs and Lexus's before I came upon the 300. I did not think it would be anything special, but the 300 absolutely shocked me, so much as to think, "why doesn't everyone have one of these?" The ride is so soft and easy-- absolutely effortless to drive. The UConnect system and entire control system is so easy to use; everything that should have a button or knob does and there's no unnecessary cluttering. I love the way the navigation system appears on the driver's dash and decreases the volume of the music only on the driver's side to give an upcoming direction. I do wish that the navigation system allowed the passenger to type while the vehicle is in motion, but I understand why it doesn't allow it. It is such a comfortable car, and if it isn't, there are a multitude of ways that you can adjust the seat to make it most comfortable. The Pentastar engine is fantastic. It's funny that I had the same engine in my Wrangler, yet in this vehicle it seems entirely different: so refined and reliable. I can't tell the auditory difference between when the vehicle is on and when it is off-- that is a great vehicle. I do wish there was more backseat room, but for someone who rarely has backseat passengers, it's hardly a complaint at all and the massive trunk more than makes up for it. I am so happy with this car-- sporty, classic, bold, luxurious and goes like hell, even without the 8. The panoramic sunroof is gorgeous and hardly makes noise when opened, something a lot of other sunroofs fail to do. I'll be running this vehicle into the ground!

S 4dr Sedan (3.6L 6cyl 8A)
Chrysler 300 The good, the bad and the fantastic
The car was a great deal and I got a lot off of the sticker price! It wasn't the color I wanted (black on black), but the car has been surprisingly pleasant to own and drive. I have had it now for a month, and enjoy the car. Positives, technology! The car is wonderful at keeping you in the lane, warning you of traffic and helping you to stop! The navigation and U connect systems are stellar. The acceleration is great and the car is extremely quiet! What I don't like, rear leg room is not great for such a large car, and the seats are pretty hard. I love the heated and cooled seats and cup holders. Finally the front and rear LEDs are great looking and so are the wheels! Now at over 6k miles the car continues to be great, quiet, technologically capable, powerful, and fun. The only problem I have had is that the A/C and U-connect screen whet down. It re-set itself after shutting the car off for a while. Gas mileage in town about 15 mpg but on the road almost 22mpg.

C 4dr Sedan AWD (3.6L 6cyl 8A)
300C is a niccce full size car
It has been 1 Year of owning the car and I have updated this review. I,m a believer you need certain vehicles based on your age. Teenager- hot rod. newly married with no kids-a 4 door sports car like a Nissan Maxima, having little kids- a minivan or a mid size SUV like a Highlander , purchased a house and will be doing most repairs yourself- Truck, Midlife crisis -Convertible. Well I've been through all that. Next car for me on Lifes Bucketlist is a "Old mans car", there are many out there, from Cadillac , Lincoln, Mercedes etc, I bought myself a 2016 300C, and I love this car! 1st of all, you can get alot off the sticker because they have some tuff competition. Next compare the features in this ultra loaded car to a Cadillac and you can see it,s easily a $ 10-16000 bargain. Chrysler tries really hard to compete against others by putting a lot in their cars, Michelin mx v4 tires, double sunroof, nice looking chrome wheels, front and back heated seats(who does that !) a Mercedes looking interior layout, a car frame that was used in previous Mercedes E series, 8 speed transmissions. AWD. huge trunk. Accessories Galore. Driving this car with the V6 I find it to have plenty of power and zip. I drove both the V6 and the V8 Hemi on 2 different days and I honestly could not tell the difference. The ride is very comfortable with the 4 wheel independent suspension.the car also has a quiet interior. My only complaint is I find the middle arm rest is set too far back, your elbow is almost falling off the front of it. Small complaint considering their are a hundred things in a car that could bother you. I have been buying Toyotas, Nissans and Mazda,s for 30 years now and it feels good to come back to an American car that I can say I really love. As for the Edmunds review of small rear window -who cares, the car comes with radar sensors in bumpers and a 8" rear back up screen .Take one for a test ride around the town and 1 exit on highway, I think you will be pleasantly surprised.

Alloy 4dr Sedan AWD (3.6L 6cyl 8A)
FIRST IMPRESSIONS
I just purchased a 300 AWD 2016 in March 2017. The dealership needed to move this car and really discounted the price. I traded in my 2015 Buick Encore(fully loaded, very poor performer) and got an exceptional deal. I took the car home in a snow storm and it was smooth sailing, no skidding, sliding or having the AWD system shut off like it did in the encore. Since the storm, I have put on about 250 miles and this car is a joy to drive. Handles great, accelarates great. So far I have zero complaints. Well done Chrysler! UPDATE 12/2018 STILL LOVE THE CAR GET TONS OF COMPLIMENTS, ONLY ISSUE IS AN INTERIOR RATTLE THAT CANT SEEM TO BE FIXED AND DRIVES ME A BIT NUTTY
venussardine,
Such a comfortable, dependable ride
I bought this car pre-owned 3 years ago with about 11,000 miles on it. It has given me no issues and very comfortable ride. I love all the luxury features at an affordable price. A great value and highly recommend.

Best Vehicle Ever
I like the way this car rides it's very smooth I left an Avalon for this car. I like it much better as far as performance is concern it's great.

Beautiful reliable non-gas guzzler
I’ve owned this car for about a year. It’s been a great car to me. I’m from Michigan, where winters are frigid. My first winter with her, and the remote start feature was the best experience! My interior/seat was auto warmed and ready to go in -(neg) temperatures as I headed to work. It has excellent steering control, & picks up speed quickly. It’s also comfortable, spacious plus Not expensive to fill the tank. I plan on keeping this car for years to come.

ejectionspinach,
Very pleased with this car.
This has been a great car so far,own less than a year and driven about 10000 miles, the thing I love the most is the comfort on long trips, car is a eye catcher and people say what a nice looking car. I dont like it in city traffic, the 8 speed transmission is a little busy up and down hills, but when your cruising on the high way this car is smooth and gets 33 MPG. This car is a boulevard cruiser and if that"s how you drive it you will be very pleased as I am.
yieldpseudo,
I'm impressed every day
This is an awesome car. I test drove luxury cars with a much higher price tag and this was ultimately my favorite. The handling and comfort is amazing. I had the Pentastar V6 on my previous vehicle, a Wrangler, and it is worlds better in the 300. Seamless gearshifts and powerful. The interior is comfortable and classy. The UConnect is a great system-- super easy to use and very reliable. Living in Upstate NY, I was worried about having a sedan in the snow for the first time, but this is a beast with the AWD. I would even argue better than SUVs I have had. I feel super safe in this car and have NO ISSUES with it and have had it for 3 years/40k miles. I am so happy with this car-- it also still looks great after 3 years! (Had I got the BMW 5 series in 2016, it'd already look dated since a new gen came out). Chrysler should advertise this vehicle more-- it is so underrated.
barberpickle,
Great Car
This is my second 300, and I really like the brand. I really dont have any complaints except for a small noise in the back window area that no one can seem to find. Great engine(3.6), and really good highway gas mileage (about 30-31) at 75 miles an hour. Heard the 2019 300S will come only in the V8, not sure that will work for me. That could get me in trouble, lol Well see!

Driving the best
I love my 2016 300C I get close to 40MPG with this V-6 and all the power you need.
gongwood,
Great car, great value
I bought a 15 300S AWD about 1 year ago. I love it. It ride and drives great. Very smooth, quiet and comfortable ride. I see the 300 compared a lot to the Avalon and Impala, which I dont understand, as the 300 is such a better driving and more solid feeling car. Also, I get looks and complements that youd never get in one of those other cars. 14k miles and only one minor issue with a squeaky seat cushion that was replaced under warranty.
embargoplay,
Absolute Power & Comfort
Comfort + Power = Fantastic driving experience. Living in the mountainous area of Pennsylvania with so many ups, downs, curves I finally found a vehicle that gives me the power I need and the comfort I've been looking for. Having 3 back surgeries I've got the power lumbar the air conditioned/heated seats that in colder months can stsrt my csr before I walk out the door. I showed it to my brother who also bought one.
packagerooted,
Best new car I ever owned!!!
Yes, I'm 63 years old, had all large size American built cars, since my first 1965 Ford Galaxie 500. I ordered the base model Limited , It runs and looks sharp. No added options, the price with tax and fees came out to $30000.00. It comes standard with many extras. The ride , with the 17 inch wheels, and normal size tires ( no low profile tires) and long 120 inch wheelbase, is just great!!! It absorbs the bumps and potholes with ease. The pickup, with the v6 is also great!! Seats are large and comfortable, with many lumbar adjustments. I owned Buicks and Olds before this. It is the best new car I ever owned! I,m glad I took the test drive, The gas mileage is above normal, for a car with this weight.Uses regular unleaded. Try it you will like it!
condenseused,
Great driving car- the whole package
I bought a 300s AWD for a smooth freeway drive, a bit of sportiness (s is stiffer and a bit more powerful), room for the family, and winter capability. I feel it compares favorably to any other car in this price range. So far so good- I love it!

"Diggin the scene with the gangster lean!"
My car is a 300C AWD Luxury edition with all options. The car is built on a Mercedes platform, and it shows. Rock solid and quiet with HEMI power. Car performs well (my other car is a late model Z51 Corvette) handles amazingly well for it’s size and is church quiet inside. Interior is roomy, luxurious and soothing. Have had no unscheduled maintenance except alternator recall in 62,000 miles. Build quality is very high (pretty much on par with a Mercedes 600 I owned). THIS CAR IS GREAT FOR SOMEONE IN NEED OF A LARGE, FAST, CAPABLE SEDAN. 9.9/10!
