Engine shuts down when water temp gauge goes a hair over 170 degrees. The gauge ranges from 100-280 degrees. But a red light comes on at about 171 and engine quits. Yet when I feel hood of car it is cool. I get a little steam out of radiator but not much immediately after shut down. I can open it bare handed. I do not have a "fix" as of yet.

Instrument panel cluster goes on and off. First thing effected rpm, when it goes off the air conditioner won't blow cold. Car feels like gonna stall when stop. I did computer check. It said cluster, ECM, mass airflow sensor. I can't afford to replace all three at once!!!! Which one should I replace first?
