My wife's 2003 Buick rendevous gave no warning of any problems, she had been driving it around one day just fine comes home and it will not start, it will turn over just fine but won't crank so I replaced the 250.00$ fuel pump and still the same results I still can't hear the fuel pump kick on it's not getting gas or electric to it I checked all fuses and relays but nothing someone please tell me wut it is

when the car was about half warmed up, and we would stop somewhere for about 15 min, the engine would crank, but not start. if we waited an hour or two, it would start. replacing the fuel pump stopped this issue.

Car starts up immediately but after driving it for several miles (16 miles or more), then parking it and letting it sit for an hour or more, you have a hard time getting it to start. It will crank and act like it will turn over but it stalls and chokes itself out. So, I keep trying to start it and have tried as many as 9 times prior to it actually starting. Then, because it is running, the dealership cannot diagnose the problem so it has not been "fixed". I really like the SUV other than that problem.

car stalled out while on expressway. Had it towed because it would not stay running. Auto mechanic looked at it and ran a diagnostic test which showed fuel pump.Had fuel pump replaced and now I have 2 leaks from different hoses. Too costly to keep this car going.

I've had this problem over the last few months. I was told it was my fuel pump and had it replaced. The problem still persists. Common sense did tell me that if the fuel pump was gone, that the vehicle would not start after the first incident. My problem has been fixed by changing out the wiring harness. While undergoing this repair, the fuel gauge and check engine light went wonky. Had to take it back to fix this problem as well. Overall, this problem cost me over $ 500 in parts and labor. On the plus side, my Rendezvous runs like a champion now and I am satisfied.
