2002 Buick Rendezvous Corrosion At Ignition Coil Towers

Corrosion may develop at the connection between the i gnition coil tower and spark plug wire resulting in an engine misfire. The Ignition coil and spark plug wire should both be replaced to correct this condition.

    AWD disabled light is on and now the transmission seems to hesitate to shift

    found oxidation where coils mount. cleaned with wire brush and installed new coils with anti-sieze. used di electric grease inside spark plug boot and harness connection. coil 1/5 both tested high for resistance.
  • 2002 165,000 Miles
    Cylinder 3 is misfiring. Hasn't been fixed yet.
