I have a 2000 ZR2, I was driving it and it just stopped running on me, it turns over just fine, but won't start. So I had it towed home, I noticed that the fuel pump wasn't kicking on, so changed the fuel pump, I put a new fuel filter on it, I changed the oil pressure switch, someone said that if the oil pressure switch goes out it would cut power to pump. I have tried everything I can think of. If I run a hot wire to the pump from battery it will kick on and run, but I can't get any power to the pump, I checked the wires with a voltage tester, I have power to the sending unit, my gas have works fine, but still no power to pump itself, does anyone have any suggestions that I haven't tried please?

Sometimes it'll start right up but most times it'll just turn over and turn over. As soon as i go to crank it again right after it just turned over, it'll start right up. Almost like you had to prime it like you have to do to diesel
