LX 4dr Wagon
best car I have ever owned.
I have been the second owner of this car. It is great for everything. If I had some one to do any repairs I would not be selling. Wish I could have gotten another one that was a 2016.

Eagle Wagon
Overall good car. Weak transmission however. Has had two re-builds. Has not deterred me from driving. Have not found a newer car with the same versatility and cargo capacity for its size. Easy to drive in city and comfortable on trips.

Lovin the summit!
Well, I have only had my 2-dr.ESi for a few months now, but I drive in excess of 500 kms a day, and I have not had a problem yet. Even at these high gas prices, I am not shelling out my paycheque for gas! Other than the road noise, i find this little puddle jumper to be everything you want it to be. The only other thing is the placement of the drink holders, right in front of the ashtray, so you cant use the ashtray when you have even one drink there! But if you don't smoke then this is of no concern! loL!

Decent little car
I didn't have high expectations when I bought this car and I've now owned it for five years and it has 92,000 miles and runs great. I drove a Honda Civic before this car and was suprised to find the Summit quite peppy. The only major problem the car has is with certain components rusting. The rotors rust very easily for some reason and I've had to replace them a couple of times. The radiator also had to be replaced. Other than that, I haven't done anything to it that is not routine maintenance. Mine is a standard and it drives and handles great.

"Zippy little thing"
We bought this car, best described as a “Mini-Mini Van”, for my daughter in college. She has now graduated and moved so it’s our spare car. I LOVE driving it!!!! It is small enough on the outside (I can park it in the tiniest of spaces) & big enough on the inside (between the hatch & slider door I can haul ANYTHING!), especially good for taking the dog to the beach. It is GREAT on gas (about 22mpg). I never loose it in a parking lot because there is only one! Would be nice if the passenger seat went back further and the switch for the on demand dome light has failed but all in all for a car that is 20 years old (only 112k miles) it is serving us very, very well. There is still a LOT of Giddy-up in the old gal!!!

"I recommend this car"
I am the only owner of a 1994 Eagle Summit Wagon LX stick shift. In 1994 it was sold by Chrysler, but it is a Mitshubishi engine under the hood. After 18 years I still love the car. I can flip down the back seat and transport my bike. Mechanically it has been very reliable with ordinary repairs and replaced parts. At about 140,000 miles it is consuming a lot of oil. I add some about every 2 weeks to keep it full. It is needing some repair work now and I am evaluating whether to trade it in for something new. Since I still like the car, the body is in great condition, and haven't had car payments in years, it is hard to give it up. The only thing I would change is the door configuration from 3 doors with hatchback to 4 doors with hatchback.Read less

"Great versatile car, very reliable (Mitsu engine)"
Unconventional design, (one sliding door) but very easy to get in and out of, seats fold for ALOT of storage space if necessary, enough power if you "get on it hard", very easy to drive and park in small spaces, and pretty good gas mileage for an 18 year old car. Roof rack, rear hatch, power everything and cruise (a must), and starts every time. Mitsubishi drive train should last forever....

I have owned and still have a 2009 Kia amanti it is now 2024 I have 51000 miles on this car excellent handling in all weather except ice and deep snow very fast in traffic I think the handling is tight and responsive. My spouse has driven this on the interstate frequently and the first thing he did was get it up to 220 mph at this speed is floaty but under 80 mph just a pleasure to drive *****
