Hi,I just want request your help in order to see if My Saturn VUE 2008 VIN: 3GSCL53768S653922 is part of the recall process for the automatic transmission issues, because yesterday when I parked on my garage with a non-level surface, the vehicle suddenly roll out backward and my wife and one of my child was on the back of the vehicle when this happen, fortunately they was not injured, the vehicle just hits the concrete wall of my house, this happened yesterday sept 8 2015.But today, September 9 2015 when I tried to use my vehicle as every day, this is just running forward in the 1 speed, the automatic shifting is not working anymore, also when you try to use the manual mode this is not working too, so the transmission is dead, my vehicle is unusable.I read something related with this issue on internet: http://www-odi.nhtsa.dot.gov/cars/problems/recalls/recallresults.cfm?start=1&SearchType=QuickSearch&rcl_ID=08V200000&summary=true&prod_id=224532&PrintVersion=YESAt this point, I'm very disappointed, I always bought GM vehicles because I feel very proud to be part of the manufacturing process as employee of the one of the principal suppliers of GM.So please let me know if my vehicle is part of the recall process mentioned to replace the transmission, or some not expensive option, that I can use to fix the issue with the vehicle transmission.Thanks for you quick answer.

Car will not shift into reverse and when in drive will not shift from 1st. Dealer said it was due to a 35Clutch Wave Plate that broke & will cost$ 3500 to replace.I feel GM should pay the full amount to fix it!

Car started jerking when downshifting ..Per dealership..a broken wave plate is the culprit. Need new transmission..just my luck, 5 year warranty expired 9/2012, but only have 57,000 miles on this regularly maintenienced car. Now I see that this has been a common problem in this car..and I feel it should've been a recall issue but guess since it is not "life-threatening" it was not designated as such. VERY disappointing for a previously proud saturn owner and her pocketbook :(

Check engine light is on and I have nor gears either forward or reverse. The car is a AWD with automatic and I'm having a heck of a problem seeking solutions. Seems like the repair is far more expensive than the actual overall value of the vehicle if it was running. As a loyal GM consumer its a shame they just won't step up to the plate and help out on the solutions for us! I've purchased 7 brand new GM vehicles and 12 used ones (as far as I can remember)so I expect a little loyalty from the fortune spent on them!

same problem with no indication or warning prior to the existence of the condition. I try to promote and stand by American made products but for the average joe there is not much return for this type of loyalty. Bottom line Our car companies don't produce the best product they can and they don't stand by the ones they put out.

While driving vehicle would seem like it was going 2 cut off had 2 step on gas, has cut off in the middle of a turn, won't move now whether its in reverse or drive. Originally thought my fuel filter was clogged had it changed with a tune up but problems still existed. Contacted Saturn about recall, no help what so ever, they don't stand by all their vehicles, they would prefer 2 wait 4 someone 2 b injured or killed before putting money into repair, but they have no problem in taking people's money for their vehicles. I used 2 love Saturns but I'll look elsewhere

I had the same problem hard to shift lost reverse. They rebuilt it and I haven't put 10,000 miles on it now the same thing is starting hard shifting, loud noise. Then try to find a dealer to work on it. It took 6 weeks to get it back the first time.

complete loss of all gears. DTC P0777, P0796, P2715, P2723, P2724. The result of a 35r broken wave plate. Got a new reman trans from GM for $ 2350.00. Labor calls for 10+ hrs for a tech like myself but a good handyman with a little bit of mechanical know how and swap it. If you take it to a shop expect to pay anywhere from $ 3300 to $ 3900 for a job done right. Any less and you will run into this problem AGAIN. DONT USE A SALVAGE YARD trans in this case. There are updates when you buy one from GM that keep this from happening again with so little miles. If anyone charges you less then $ 3300.00, be Leary, they are most likely not educated enough to complete said repairs properly and or they are using a junk yard "salvage" transmission. Also thru GM the warranty that is offered is 3yr 36k miles. not bad for the price of comfort and not having this same issue again later. Good luck!

trans will not go into fourth or fifth gear with heat switch on up ps 705 code cancel code and car works perfect but put on blower for heat or ac and up pops 705 and no fifth or forth gear

Problem started in 2010! Trans started slipping at 39000 took it to the dealer and wave plate was bad along with housing and a components. NOW the car is missing gears and slipping with 83000 miles now it's the drum that needs to be replaced WTF! Not under warranty I will never buy a GM again. Called GM and they are absolutely no help. Feel like they are at fault for not fixing it properly the first time. They also wanted me to take it back to the dealer to have it checked. Why would I do that when they didn't fix it correctly the fist time!!!!

My car doesn't always do this but the problem is becoming more and more frequent sometimes I can be traveling just fine and then out of nowhere the light will come on and it will run like crap. And sometimes it will be like that as soon as I turn it on. Sometimes if I park turn car off get out and close the door then get back in and it will be just fine but not always. When the light comes on the car acts like it doesn't want to go it starts to go then just doesn't go for a few seconds then it shifts extremely roughly into second gear does the same thing then shifts into 3rd and starts to go very slowly but loses all power trying to go up a small hill. Cruise control won't work while the light is on either
