The mini cooper spare tire is located underneath the rear of the car in all versions, except the sports one. the mini cooper sports version comes equipped with run-flat tires because the battery is moved to the back. you can also keep a tire repair kit in your car, if you want to avoid removing the tires and fixing the spare tire instead. this can help in repairing minor leaks and can come in handy for short distances, until you reach a tire repair shop. it is also advisable to get the air pressure of your spare tire checked regularly in case you ever need to use it in an emergency.
