Removing the 2013 ford taurus radio is a simple procedure that can be completed by the owner if equipped with a specific removal tool. the face of the stereo should feature 2 small pin holes on either side of the lower portion of the face. in total there are 4 small holes that sit 2 inches apart from one another on the left and right sides of the stereo. the removal tool is priced at under 5 dollars and is comprised of two metal u shaped pieces. take each "u" and insert the ends of the tool into the faceplate. push both tools all the way into the radio until the ends release clips behind the faceplate. once fully inserted, you will be able to pull the taurus' radio from the dash easily.
