2010 Subaru Outback Subaru Front O2 Sensor Recall

The front oxygen (air fuel ratio) sensor element may develop a crack, causing the Check Engine Light to illuminate. Subaru has recalled certain models to replace sensors that may fail. The Subaru service program number is WXW-80, this is not a government mandated recall.

Yesterday I changed all four disc brakes will new slotted disks and ceramic pads. The check engine light, anti skid off light are on and the cruise light flashes. I ran the code and got P1155, reset and it repeated. Could the o2 sensor been disturbed when I jacked up the car?

Just had fuel pump replaced and now the check engine light is on. went to AutoZone and they coded it as a Back Stream oxygen center but a friend told me that my car, an H6.0 outback has 2 up front and 2 in the back...do I need to have them all replaced?

Check engine light came on, at the same time traction control and brake warning lights came on. Cruise also flashes and is unable to set. Multiple scans by different auto repair shops. One said we might need a new computer, another said they think the O2 sensors were causing multiple system failures. No resolution yet

Car running fine. Check engine light went on. Then cruise control dash light flashed. Mechanic checked with diagnostic computer, reading said O2 sensors failed. Waiting for smoke air test to detect leaks, then repair estimate.

Recently had the check engine and traction light come on with the brake light and cruise control lights flashing. Reading is P0420 which comes up as catalytic converter, but upon further investigation I found it is almost always the front O2 sensor.

My 2004 Subaru Outback H6 sedan has this issue.

I had an exhaust leak on the passenger side muffler that got worse over a year or so, ending with the pipe corroding and separating from the muffler. Took the car to a shop and they welded in new pipe, both sides; fixed that problem, but then the CEL came on and will not reset. Based on this recall I will try to see if the dealer will replace the oxygen sensor, and hopefully resolve the CEL.
