My 2005 Lancer ES has problem starting about 30% of the time. I would turn the key and nothing would happen except the running lights dims. No clicking, no sound at all. I would have to adjust the key slightly and try again. The process might have to be repeated 3-4 times before it starts. This occurs more when the engine is hot (like running around town with frequent stops).

06 2.4L start and stall problem, replaced throttle body tps iac maf and crankshaft sensors new plugs and getting spark and fuel pump working, cam and crank timing marks line up i don't know if it is the ecm but figured ill try the cam position sensor first if this don't fix it I'm out of ideas

Won't start. Hear clicking noise when trying to start the car.I thought it is the starterBut mechanic said it is fuel or electronic problem. Still trying to resolve the problem. Wish me luck.

The car will not start 25% of the time. When this occurs it will be fine in the ACC key position and the second I go to the ON position all dash lights turn off and the car goes dead(I even have to reset my radio head unit). If I wait a few second and try again it will start right up, except on hot days and sometimes it will take a few tries.
