1999 Rattle Noise From Clutch

A rattle noise may be noted from the clutch area while the car is at idle. If the noise changes or goes away when the clutch is depressed the fault is commonly with the clutch disc springs. It has be reported that a revised clutch disc is available from Mitsubishi to correct this concern.

    just noticed this, mainly when im sitting in a drive thru because the rattling echoes off of the building. Sometimes when I put my clutch in it goes away, but other times it just rattles and is quite embarrassing because I keep my car in excellent condition. wondering what the heck is going on though and if I need to be concerned or its just a quick fix.
