2007 Jeep Commander Ringing From Driveshaft

A ringing sound may be noted from the driveshaft when shifting from drive to reverse and reverse to drive. The repair may involve replacing the automatic transmission output flange and applying "Stud N Bearing Mount Adhesive" to the transmission output shaft flange splines.

    I just heard a ticking sound in my jeep yesterday morning December 2, 2016 and when I put in reverse and backed up a little it quit. Today December 3, 2016 I find transmission fluid on the ground where I parked. I haven't found out the problem yet but will be soon. Wandering if there is a recall in this?

    my trans rear main was vibrating really bad after vehicle warms up....trans was shifting hard at times and delayed shifting...now trans rear main seal is leaking...after complaining to dealer while under warranty problem was not discovered..after adding 20,000 miles to odometer and being told the problem was a belt or tension wheel...its now verified to have been the transmission rear main bearing now that the leak exist...misdiagnosed by the dealers while under warranty and now my problem.....
