2007 Engine Buck/Misfire at Freeway Speeds

The engine may misfire and/or buck while driving at freeway speeds with no fault code stored in the powertrain control module (PCM). This can be caused by an intermittent fault with the camshaft synchronizer assembly. This condition can be diagnosed by monitoring knock sensor data as per Ford service bulletin #05-22-12. Replacement of the synchronizer assembly will be required to correct this concern.

the engine will buck or flutter for no reason. Car is crusing at 40 and will begin to skip and flutter a few times, then stop. No codes are being found. It also clucks or slams a bit when accelerating up a slight incline. This is random and no mechanic has been able to fix it. A warmer car seems to have it happen more often. Some days it will buck and jump 10 times, others, none at all. Has anyone fixed this????

the car will run smoothly then without notice it will chug a few times. This genrally happens at 55 to 70 MPH and when on an incline. It will sometimes happen at lower speeds but doea not seem to do it below 40 MPH.

From 30-50 mph under slight acceleration or going up incline, car will chug or act like not getting fuel. Happens in 4th gear at about 2000-2200 rpm. Smoothes out if increase speed or accelerate harder.

Engine misses at freeway speeds. Some relief if car O/D shut off. Replaced all 6 coils, and problem went away for a bit. Started up again after about 300 miles. Most noticable on freeway, and when beginning up hills. If car shifts into lower gear, problem usually goes away.

frequently bucks, various speeds seems worse cruise control on at 70 mph, freeway start up slight slope not touching accelerator pedal, will buck several times then OK, occasionally at lower speeds, start slight acceleration and rarely really makes me think is going to totally quit., then smooths out and runs fine. Seems to be getting slowly worse
