MY 2013 FORD TAURAS STARTED RUNNING HOT SO I HAD THE THERMOSTAT CHANGED THE ON THE NEXT THE DAY MY CAR WAS LEAKING COOLANT FROM THE WATER PUMP. I TOOK IT TO A FORD DEALERSHIP AND THEY ADVISED ME THAT WATER WAS LEAKING FROM A WEEPING HOLE IN THE WATER PUMP. I WAS JUST WONDERING IF THIER IS ANYONE ELSE WITH THIS PROBLEM ON A 2013 FORD TAURAS

a month or so ago i replace the head gasket because it was leaking water. Turns out it was leaking water from the timing cover. i replaced the head, manifold, valve cover, waterpump and gasket as well as the timing cover gasket. Today the car started to sound like it was about to die and its producing white smoke from the exhaust.

Car began to over heat while on the highway. Water pump had failed. $ 1300 to repair and one week later the engine failed. Ford dealer put new engine in for $ 6,000 and it wouldn't start. The fuel pump driver module failed. Hopefully I pick up the car tonight.
