The top mount are made of a CHEAP magnesuim or other weak metal alloy and break. Why use such cheap garbage? A better iron bracket mount couldnt have been that much more for Chrysler to use. I ended up replacing upper mount with an aftermarket part. Took about an hour a side. Bite me Chrysler.

Mileage 50,500 - driver side rear wheel - knocking. the shock absorber appears to be working fine. I believe the rubber bushing is out of position or gone. any suggestions on a fix. I know most car repair sources will want to replace struts on both sides. this is for a 2001 sebring convertible..
