The rpm fluctuates while the car is in park and I'm bot touching the gas at all. It dies when I get to low speeds or stop. Then after a while it wont start at all. But when it sits overnight it starts just fine. Works for about a week then the process repeats.

I was driving my car and when I went to accelerate to take off it bogged down and stalled. I checked the spark plug for spark and there is no spark. It turns over but won't start. 3/4 full gas in tank. Think it could be rotor in distributer but I don't know need help.

Starts fine, but if you pull up to a stop sign or stop light you can feel the car loose power and it dies. Can drive down the road and if you slow down it will die in the middle of the street. Sometimes it will start back up after it sits for awhile, other times you have to put it park quickly and give it some gas to keep it going.

I bought this car used and it started but the timing belt had never been replaced and was forced to replace it. For anyone who is considering this job I would suggest a lift cause it was a bear and took me and my son over two months to do because we had to make new tools to loosten these bolts that held the bracket over the covers. So when I get done the car wont start so i pull the distributor and decide to then pull the crankshaft position sensor and the sensor breaks off half way so I have freeze the plastic to shrink it then remove it from car. So now I have replaced that and am now ordering a new distributor to put in because it still would not start.
