Power steering fluid leak. 2-3 oz. per week. Looks like it is coming from near the top of the engine, and being thrown by the serpentine belt, because it is all over that area of the engine compartment. Do others hose failures occur near the top, bottom, both?

I've had to fill the power steering pump twice in the past month and took it into a shop to have the leak fixed. The hoses need to be replaced but they suggested the rack & pinion as well. This is pretty expensive to say the least!
