1990 Coolant Leaks From Water Pump and Radiator

The water pump and/or the plastic side tanks on the radiator may leak causing a loss of coolant . The engine may overheat due to coolant loss. Continued coolant loss after external leaks have been repaired could indicate a blown head gasket .

Coolant started leaking and then spraying onto inside of hood. Then car stared overheating and can't hold coolant. Now head gaskets are said to be bad.

The crossovers began leaking coolant. When this happens the coolant may mix with dirt from the engine or ground and appear to be oil. Heritage Cadillac robbed me of $ 1,500 by replacing the head gasket, knowing the crossover gasket was defective. Eventually, Heritage Cadillac replaced the crossover and water pump for another $ 1,500, only to say my electronic shocks were going bad. It's been a year later and my shocks are fine. That Heritage Caddillac of JONESBORO, GA. Go to PEP BOYS, they won't cheat, lie, and overprice you.
