1995 Buick Skylark "No Start" Due to Ignition Switch Failure

The ignition switch may fail causing a no start condition. This is not generally a theft system ( passlock ) issue because the security light does not illuminate or flash.

    I'm having problems trying to start my vehicle it's turning over and act like it wants to crank then it cut off....when I get in my vehicle and turn the key to the on position and I don't see no dash lights but wen I use to get in and turn the key lights came on and the car crank...I got my starter checked it was good...I clean the port on the battery ...my fuel pump working OK ..I just can't seem to no the problem. .I just don't want to keep buying parts I don't need so do u have a solution to this problem

    It is not fixed sometimes it turns over and starts other times u can turn the key and nothing if u turn the wheel and try starting it it makes a weird noise I feel it's my ignition cuz sometimes when turn it and jiggle key it does weird things. Now have to start it with a wire touching battery and now the Frick en brakes went out almost drove it right off the retaining wall
