ABS and brake light came on at the same time, failed NYS inspection due to the inability of the computer to be read while having this fault indication. Replaced module at a cost of $ 1,200 and it past NYS safety inspection.

ABS light with the triangle warning light.Replaced all four wheel sensors. No difference, rear wheels will lock up if brakes are applied very hard. Same warning lights on.

ABS module on my '03 A4 Quattro failed a couple of months ago. I now drive with no ABS, traction control, cruise control, or SPEEDOMETER. The engineers at Audi routed speed sensor through the ABS module. The Odo still works though! A replacement ABS module is worth more than the effing car so I'm just going to live with it until the car dies. FYI I use a GPS for my speed.
