The truck jerked abruptly in cruise speed, followed by stabiltrac and reduced power message display, simultaneous to a check engine light. The truck went to reduced engine performance mode. Shut down if vehicle cleared the stabtrac lights, but not the check engine light. After re-start 3 rd attempt thecreduced power mode cleared but the check engine light remained on. The truck was taken to a Chevy dealer for repair. I was told the engine would require removal for replacement of a suspected bad unspecified component.
