Want to know where the starter is located on the 2013 kia optima the starter on the optima happens to be located right behind the engine in between the intake. the location of this starter is very hard to get to. you need to remove several parts of the engine to be able to access it. if you want to attempt the replacement yourself, i do not recommend it unless you know what you're doing. if you don't, then please take the vehicle to a mechanic. it is a very complicated process and you will need several tools to complete it. it's better to leave it to a professional.
