Error Code P1080 is defined as Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input. This code usually means there’s a broken link between the stepper motor and the manifold flap on one of your intake manifolds.
Unlike most codes, though generic this error code does NOT apply to all cars. Vehicle manufacturers use specific code and named for Error Code 1080, and their nature can be different from each other. Also, foreign cars may also use different DTC codes from the generic Engine Diagnostics code.
