To open the trunk in a 2012 buick regal just press the trunk release button on the key fob or use the key. if you find that your trunk is not opening when you use the key fob you may have a dead key fob battery. to access the battery, you'll have to open the fob. typically, you have to use a coin or a small screwdriver to pry the battery cover open. the battery will look like a silver button. look for the numbers on the battery and match those to a replacement battery. your local auto parts store has keyfob batteries in stock.
