2006 - 2014

Introduced in 2006 at the Chicago Auto Show, this model is the third generation of the full-size luxury Navigator sedan.

2003 - 2006

Based on the Ford U platform and introduced in 2003, the second generation of the Navigator is powered by a 5.4L V8 electronic injection Triton petrol engine rated at 305 HP and 365.1 pound-feet of torque. The full-size luxury sports utility vehicle, fitted with rear wheel drive and automatic, 4-speed transmission, benefited from tire-pressure monitoring, power-deployable running boards, power liftgate and power folding third row seat. The 2004 facelift incorporates a SOHC 5.4 L V8 3-valve engine and replaces the 4-speed transmission with a ZF 6-speed automatic transmission.

1998 - 2003

In production between 1998 and 2002, the first generation of the Navigator was initially powered by a 5.4 L Triton SOHC V8 petrol engine rated at 230 HP and 325.3 pound-feet torque. In 1999, this full-size luxury SUV received a 5.4 L InTech DOHC V8 petrol engine upping the performance to 305 HP and 354.8 pound-feet of torque. Based on the U platform from Ford, the Navigator incorporated a four-speed automatic transmission and all-wheel drive.
