The Murcielago LP 670 SuperVeloce was first unveiled to the media in March 2009 and represents, in Lamborghini's words, a purist version of the Murcielago LP 640.

In 2006, 5 years after the launch of the original Murcielago, Lamborghini decided to equip a new engine, which of course had more power.
