To reset the tire pressure monitoring system (tpms) in a 2013 ford taurus, you will need a tpms relearn tool. to begin, park your vehicle and turn the engine off. press the brake pedal and release it. turn the key in the ignition to on and then off three times, ending with it in the on position. this is one before actually starting the engine. press the brake pedal again, and release. turn the ignition to off. turn it back to on and off again three more times, ending with it on. when done properly, a horn will beep twice. you will then see a prompt that says train left front tire on the display. start with the tire suggested. hold the relearn tool near the valve stem, against the tire sidewall. activate the sensor by pressing the button. continue to do each tire the same way, moving clockwise around the vehicle. the horn should chirp once after each sensor to let you know it's complete. after you're done with the final tire, the message on the display should disappear.
