The 2004 ford taurus has a tensioner pulley bolt that is 15mm in size so that is the size socket that you will need to use to remove it. it is also a good idea to use a tool that has an extended reach arm to be able to remove the pulley bolt from the vehicle because it will be under a lot of tension that you will need to break. when you do reinstall the tensioner pulley it is a good idea to use a torque wrench to make sure that it is on properly. if it is under or over torqued it may lead to the pulley slipping off or getting damaged and that will need to be replaced.
