OBD-II Code High voltage system may not operate is defined as a High Voltage System Interlock Circuit High

The High Voltage System is equipped with multiple safety devices to reduce electrical hazards while the vehicle is being worked on or if the vehicle is involved in a crash. If the engine control module (PCM) detects that any of the safety devices are disconnected or not connected, the hybrid system will shut down. When the PCM detects a hybrid system shut down, it will set code P0A0D.
