Every now and again, an upstart luxury sport sedan comes along to challenge the status quo. But the challenge is usually unsuccessful, simply because the established German players are so good at what they do. Nonetheless, we think a happier ending is in store for the all-new 2017 Jaguar XE. The venerable British carmaker has taken dead aim at the segment stalwarts, and the result is a fully competitive sedan with thrilling performance and head-turning style to boot.

The 2017 Jaguar XE's styling evokes that of its bigger sibling, the handsome XF sedan.

The fact that the XE looks as good, if not better, than its rivals can be seen in photos. Where its inner beauty lies, however, is in the driving experience it provides. Its superlative balance between sharp, engaging handling and a comfortable, composed ride is among the absolute best in the entry-level sport sedan segment. This is a car that sets out to make a connection with the driver in a way that competitors have increasingly failed to do.

Another key to its success could be its diverse range of compelling engines. The most popular will likely be the turbocharged 2.0-liter four-cylinder (240 horsepower), but there's also a fuel-sipping turbodiesel four (with a whopping 318 pound-feet of torque) and a stirring supercharged V6 (with 340 hp). The latter two are available with all-wheel drive.

Inside, the XE certainly isn't lacking on the feature content front, but its space and quality leave much to be desired. In particular, the cabin's materials and construction trail those of most competitors by a considerable margin. It feels closer to a Ford Fusion (an admittedly high-quality midsize sedan) than a Mercedes-Benz C-Class.

As such, we think the 2017 Jaguar XE is best suited to those who want to drive an engaging car and look great doing it. It's something fun, something different, and it stands out in a good way. However, there's no getting around the fact that its well-rounded German competitors will probably be a better fit for more car shoppers. These include the BMW 3 Series, Mercedes-Benz C-Class and Audi A4. Taking a look at the Lexus IS or the Cadillac ATS (similar to the XE in many ways) is also a good idea. Inevitably, Jaguar finally has a car that competes in this group, and we think it's definitely worth a test drive.

Standard safety features on the 2017 XE include stability and traction control, front-seat side and side curtain airbags, and hazard lights that automatically activate under heavy braking. A rearview camera is standard on the Premium trim level and above, while the R-Sport further comes with drowsy driver monitoring, blind-spot monitoring, rear cross-traffic alert, front and rear parking sensors, lane departure warning and intervention, forward collision warning, and forward collision mitigation with automatic emergency braking.

The R-Sport trim's standard front and rear parking sensors and blind-spot monitoring with rear cross-traffic alert can be added to the Premium or Prestige trim via a Vision package (which also adds the adaptive xenon headlights with automatic high beams). As noted above, there's also a Driver Assistance package (R-Sport) with additional safety technologies.

Every XE comes with InControl Protect (including SOS emergency calling, Jaguar roadside assistance and stolen vehicle location) and InControl Remote (a smartphone app with vehicle status reports, remote locking and unlocking, and other remote features).

In testing, an XE 35t R-Sport came to a stop from 60 mph in 116 feet, which is a bit longer than average for a car with summer performance tires.

The 2017 Jaguar XE is a small luxury sedan offered in four main trim levels: base, Premium, Prestige and R-Sport. Each can be paired with multiple engines, denoted in the model name by 25t (gasoline four-cylinder), 20d (diesel four-cylinder) or 35t (gasoline six-cylinder). Specifically, the base XE comes in 25t or 20d specification, while the Premium and Prestige are offered with all three engines, and the R-Sport comes in 20d or 35t form. Note too that every XE with the 35t engine includes a sport-tuned suspension, which is also included with the XE 20d R-Sport (rear-wheel-drive only).

The base XE starts with 17-inch wheels, three selectable drive modes (Normal, Eco and Dynamic), automatic wipers, automatic engine stop-start for conserving fuel at rest, an electronic parking brake, remote keyless entry, push-button start, a dual-zone automatic climate control, an auto-dimming rearview mirror, eight-way power front seats, a leather-wrapped steering wheel, Bluetooth, the 8-inch InControl touchscreen, and a six-speaker audio system with HD radio, a USB media port and an auxiliary audio jack. A navigation system with InControl Apps is optional.

Every Jaguar XE from the Premium trim on up has one of two powerful Meridian audio systems.

The Premium adds different 17-inch wheels (or 18-inch wheels if you get the XE 35t), power-folding and auto-dimming side mirrors, driver memory settings, a rearview camera, a 40/20/40-split folding rear seatback and an 11-speaker Meridian audio system with a subwoofer.

Going with the Prestige further equips the XE with 18-inch wheels (19-inchers for the XE 35t), metal doorsill inserts, keyless entry and ignition, ambient interior lighting, a power-adjustable and heated steering wheel, heated front seats with four-way power lumbar adjustment, upgraded leather upholstery and the navigation system with InControl Apps.

Finally, there's the R-Sport with its own wheel designs (18-inch wheels for the XE 20d, 19s for the XE 35t), adaptive xenon headlights with washers, LED running lights, automatic high beams, a rear spoiler, distinctive exterior trim details, sport front seats, an imitation-leather-wrapped instrument panel, satellite radio and a number of safety technologies (see Safety section for details).

Some of the higher trims' standard features are offered on lower trims as options. Additionally, the Prestige and R-Sport trims offer Jaguar's Adaptive Dynamics (adaptive suspension dampers and adjustable drive settings), a Black Design package (gloss-black exterior trim), a Comfort and Convenience package (ventilated front seats, heated rear seats, power rear sunshade, power trunklid), a Driver Assistance package (adaptive cruise control, forward collision warning with advanced automatic emergency braking, surround-view parking camera, automated parking system, traffic sign recognition) and a Technology Pack (mobile 3G Wi-Fi hot spot, CD/DVD player, the 10.2-inch InControl Pro touchscreen and a 17-speaker Meridian audio system).

Further standalone options include some of the items from the above packages plus 20-inch wheels, a head-up display, and a handful of special interior trim and veneer selections.

The 2017 Jaguar XE comes standard with an eight-speed automatic transmission and one of three engines. The XE 25t employs a turbocharged 2.0-liter four-cylinder (240 horsepower, 251 pound-feet of torque), while the XE 20d gets a turbodiesel 2.0-liter four-cylinder (180 hp, 318 lb-ft) and the XE 35t steps up to a supercharged 3.0-liter V6 (340 hp, 332 lb-ft).

Rear-wheel drive (RWD) is standard, and all-wheel drive (AWD) is offered on the XE 20d and XE 35t. Jaguar's AWD system is performance-oriented, operating mostly in rear-wheel-drive mode unless traction dictates that power be sent forward.

According to EPA fuel economy estimates, both the XE 25t and 35t should return 24 mpg combined (21 city/30 highway) with RWD. The 35t AWD should return 23 mpg combined (20 city/29 highway). The XE 20d returns 36 mpg combined (32 city/42 highway) with RWD and 34 mpg combined (30 city/40 highway) with AWD.

In Edmund testing, an XE 35t AWD went from zero to 60 mph in 5.1 seconds. This is very quick and typical for a sport sedan with an upgrade engine, but it still trails the all-wheel-drive BMW 340i xDrive's incredible 4.4-second time.

The 2017 Jaguar XE could easily win you over once you turn its rotary transmission selector to Drive. It's a car engineered for the driver who wants to feel the road through the steering wheel and the seat of the pants. While many cars, including the vaunted BMW 3 Series, have moved toward being more comfortable and isolating, the Jag XE doubles down on driving dynamics. The steering is exceptional, delivering consistent weighting and providing an impressive amount of feedback. You can feel what the car is doing.

Jaguar also knows how to tune a suspension, managing to maintain control around corners and feel perpetually composed yet still deliver a well-damped ride that soaks up bumps and never punishes you for its athleticism. This perception is even better when you choose the Advanced Dynamics Pack. Truthfully, you won't notice a big difference between its standard and Dynamic settings, but the adaptive suspension's ability to further improve upon ride comfort and handling is well worth the extra cost. Really, the XE could go up against the Cadillac ATS as the most engaging luxury sport sedan to drive right now.

Of course, the engine you select makes a difference. At this point we've only sampled the 35t's supercharged V6. Like Jag's supercharged V8s, the XE's 340-hp engine upgrade delivers silky smooth, effortless power that is pleasantly different in character compared with those offered by competitors. The fact that it gets the same EPA-estimated fuel economy as the base 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder would certainly make us think long and hard about paying extra for the 35t. Of course, the presence of a diesel engine certainly makes the 20d the engine to get for those who prioritize fuel economy. If there is one disappointment from a powertrain perspective, it's the unrefined automatic stop-start system that draws too much attention to itself.

The 2017 Jaguar XE's cabin features an attractive, uncluttered dashboard with clean lines, but it lacks the sort of visual flair that made the original Jag XF and current XJ so special. Its quality also leaves a lot to be desired. Compared to what's in its German luxury sedan competitors, the door trim looks and feels a bit flimsy, the trim that wraps around the dash is unremarkable, and the dash top itself is shiny and a bit coarse. Our test car also had more squeaks and rattles than usual, and in general, the XE's cabin feels as if it belongs to a nice midsize family sedan rather than an entry-level luxury one.

Admittedly, opting for a non-black color scheme improves things as does opting for the range-topping R-Sport model that covers the dash in stitched simulated leather. It makes a difference. So too does the 10.2-inch InControl Pro touchscreen included in the Technology Pack. It has impressively quick processing speed, responds well to inputs, and its especially wide size makes it look modern and aids functionality. Some of its audio controls are a little tricky to figure out, but in general, the system works well. The same could be said of the base InControl touchscreen, but it's smaller, slower to respond and has less advanced graphics.

The 2017 XE's interior offers plenty of tech features, but its quality could be much better.

In keeping with the segment's sporty character, the 2017 XE feels snug and intimate from the driver seat. Controls fall readily at hand and the supportive driver seat should adjust enough to accommodate taller drivers. Unfortunately, such ample adjustment up front does take its toll on the backseat. The XE's Audi, BMW and Mercedes competitors all have more spacious rear accommodations. And although the 15.9-cubic-foot trunk would seem to be among the segment-best on paper, in practice it's a bit narrow and those of competitors are likely more useful.

Like its competitors, the Jag XE's road manners vary depending what's under the hood and even whether you opt for all-wheel drive (AWD) vs. the standard rear-wheel drive (RWD). At the least exhilarating but most efficient end is the 2.0-liter diesel in the XE 20d, which isn't slow at 7.5 seconds to 60 mph, but isn't a rocket. Still we've found this engine pulls strongly thanks to its gargantuan 318 lb-ft of torque. The XE 35t, with a 340-horsepower supercharged V6, records 0-60-mph blasts of five seconds. That engine is glorious in sound and performance, and pairs well with both the XE's excellent AWD system or in traditional rear-drive form. Most buyers will choose and be happy with the efficient turbo 4-cylinder that enables 0-60-mph sprints in a swift 6.5 seconds. Steering feel is overly artificial, and those who opt for bigger wheels must contend with a stiff and loud ride.

CLEAN, CLASSY DESIGN Jaguars have long stood out with exterior styling that is sleek yet classic, contemporary yet classy. The newest sedan from the British luxury automaker carries that forward, as the 2017 XE makes an elegant and powerful statement wherever it goes. EFFICIENT AND EXHILARATING ENGINES We laud not only Jag's stout and efficient diesel engine, but the fact that the automaker is sticking with it. For drivers seeking speed over efficiency, the XE is also available with the exhilarating supercharged V6 used in the F-Type sports car.

The XE has what we'll politely call a snug 5-passenger interior that's made even snugger due to some design elements inside and out. The panels below the front side windows, for example, curl up toward the driver and passenger, which can make the cabin feel like it's creeping in. Between the not-so-wide opening doors and low roof, rear passengers will have to do some acrobatics to get inside. Once situated, legroom is just-decent to tight. Front passengers are treated to comfortable seats. This small Jaguar sedan uses a good mix of a touch-based screen and traditional buttons for audio and climate controls.

It shouldn't be a surprise the compact XE sedan looks like a smaller iteration of the XF midsize sedan. This is hardly a bad thing. We appreciate the XE's classic yet beautiful sports-sedan lines: the long hood, downward sloping roof and curtailed tail. This is perhaps contemporary design at its best. We also applaud Jag for not foisting a gaping grille on the XE. Not seen but also appreciated is Jaguar's broad use of light-yet-strong aluminum, which makes for a vehicle that's literally lighter on its feet.

Step into the least expensive Jaguar XE compact sports sedan, and you'll get Luxtec faux leather in black, tan or gray, dual-zone climate control, rear-passenger vents, 17-inch alloy wheels and moonroof. The standard infotainment system consists of Jaguar's InControl 8-inch touch-screen display and 6-speaker, 80-watt audio system with HD Radio, USB inputs and Bluetooth wireless connectivity. Surprisingly, a rearview camera still costs extra. We recommend the XE Premium, which adds a folding rear seat, auto-dimming and folding side mirrors, an upscale 11-speaker Meridian audio system and HomeLink garage-door opener. All new XE sedans come with a 5-year/60,000-mile warranty and complimentary maintenance/roadside assistance.

The 2017 Jag XE offers a wide array of extras, many of which are bundled into higher trims. Prestige models, for instance, include navigation, leather interior with heated front seats and heated steering wheel, keyless entry and power-adjustable steering column. Top-line Jaguar XE R-Sport trims ladle on a slew of otherwise optional safety features that include blind-spot monitoring, front and rear parking aids, autonomous emergency braking and lane-departure warning. Additional options vary by trim and include cooled front seats, power-operated trunk, power rear sunshade, CD/DVD player, in-car Wi-Fi 3G hotspot, and parallel/perpendicular park assist.

Three engines are available for the 2017 Jaguar. The base powerplant is a 2.0-liter turbocharged gasoline 4-cylinder that makes 240 horsepower and is offered in RWD. A 2.0-liter 4-cylinder diesel engine is optional, and can be had with traction-enhancing AWD. It makes 60 less horsepower but generates tremendous torque: 318 lb-ft. The top performer for the 2017 model year is the XE 35t, which features a supercharged 3.0-liter V6 of 340 horsepower. Like the diesel, it can be had with RWD or AWD. Interestingly, a RWD V6 Jaguar XE has the same fuel economy ratings as a 4-cylinder gasoline model, but we found that the more powerful engine encouraged vigorous driving -- and thus diminished fuel economy. All engines are linked to an 8-speed automatic transmission.2.0-liter turbocharged inline-4 240 horsepower @ 5,500 rpm 251 lb-ft of torque @ 1,750-4,000 rpm EPA city/highway fuel economy: 21/30 mpg (automatic)2.0-liter turbocharged inline-4 diesel 180 horsepower @ 4,000 rpm 318 lb-ft of torque @ 1,750-2,500 rpm EPA city/highway fuel economy: N/A3.0-liter supercharged V6 340 horsepower @ 6,500 rpm 332 lb-ft of torque @ 4,500 rpm EPA city/highway fuel economy: 21/30 mpg (RWD), 20/29 mpg (AWD)

The all-new Jaguar XE sedan arrives with a Manufacturer's Suggested Retail Price (MSRP) starting just under $ 36,000, which is just on top of the starting point of a base BMW 3 Series and just below a Mercedes C-Class, Lexus IS and Audi A4. Opting for the diesel Jaguar XE is an additional $ 1,500. Stepping up to the supercharged V6 Jaguar XE puts you in the low-$ 40,000 territory. Fully loaded, an XE can crest $ 60,000. These figures may raise eyebrows for what's called an "entry-level" luxury sedan, but they're not that unusual. Those looking for pricing with lesser sting can find it in the Infiniti Q50, Acura TLX and Cadillac ATS. Before buying, check the Fair Purchase Price to see what others in your area are paying. As the Jaguar XE is all-new, our number crunchers have yet to predict its resale value.

2017 Jaguar XE Future Generations

Jaguar XE Overview and History

In 2014, Jaguar unveiled a new generation XE performance sedan, following to go on sale in 2015 with the XE S version coming as top trim level.
Jaguars are elusive, carnivorous creatures that roam South American rain forests. They can be easily recognized by their distinct black speckled fur with spots larger than those of a leopard or cheetah. Such information would be most welcome in a National Geographic show but we don't work for them. We love animals but cover cars and this is all about the wheeled Jaguar.

A sight not as rare as it used to be, Jaguars appeared in 1922 under a different company name and profile. Founded as the Swallow Sidecar company by William Lyons and William Walmsley, the company later dropped the production of sidecars to take on coach building that would eventually lead to the launch of the first Jaguar automobile in 1932. Until 1945, all Lyons & Walmsley made cars bore the SS initials, a reminder of the company's side-car making roots, when the lettering was dropped because of  resemblances to WWII nazi troops labels. Jaguar was picked as the new name.

During the pre-Jaguar period, the company produced multiple models, beautifully styled cars that garnered as much acclaim as they did criticism. Indeed, some voices insisted that Jaguar was more about glam and style rather than pure performance and reliability. Headquartered in Coventry, Great Britan up to this day, the main Jaguar plant dealt more with bodywork design and assembly rather than going through all car-production stage. The engines and chassises were supplied by the Standard Motor Company while the first were later modified to fit Jaguar designs by William Heynes and Harry Weslake, two racing enthusiasts and passionate engine developers.

After having build a number of luxurious saloon cars throughout the 30's, such as the 1932 SS1 and the sporty SS90, Jaguar amazed the automotive industry with the launch of the XK120, the fastest production car at the time. Sporting a 3.4 liter engine capable of delivering some 180 hp, the XK could reach a top sped of over 125 mph and accelerate from 0 to 60 in less than 5 seconds. Its sheer performance, affordability and sporty slim oval-shaped grille turned the car into an icon. The Jaguar had finally smiled, displaying a wonderful row of  competition-puncturing fangs.

Sparking interest in other countries as well, the XK 120 has enjoyed a great deal of popularity having been built in over 10,000 units and becoming Jaguar's first export model. Upgrades of the 120 followed withe the XK 140 and 150.

During the 50's, Jaguar shifted emphasis on building large saloon cars. The Mk VII was the first of a completely new line-up. Despite having been powered by the acclaimed XK engines, the new vehicles were not as successful. the Mk ii however, a smaller and differently styled saloon proved otherwise, becoming Jaguar's second best selling car at the time, having been produced in some 123,000 units.

By the time the 60's came, Jaguar had already build a strong reputation that was further strengthened with the launch of the ferocious E-type. Officially revealed at the Geneva Auto Show in March 1961, the E-type was the ultimate eye-candy and record breaker. Beautifully styled and incredibly fast, the car could reach an amazing 150 mph. Heir of the C and D-type legacy, the new model was unlike anything the world had seen.

The E-type was more technology improved than its predecessors, sporting an overhead cam engine, four wheel disc brakes and independent rear suspension, features that have turned it into a champ car and racing track nightmare for Ferrari who has lost several times against the British producer.

After having been built in over 70,000 units, production of the E-type ceased in 1975 when it was replaced by the not so successful XJS. William Lyons' retirement in 72' was a blow for the company who could not rise to the standards set by its founder. It was save from bankruptcy by the Leyland company. By 1984, Jaguar bought its way out but failed to make an impressive comeback since it had lost its former appeal. 1989 was the year when Jaguar became part of the Ford Motor Company alongside British Land Rover. Ford's tutelage only lasted until 2008 when Jaguar and Land Rover were sold to Indian group Tata Motors. Jaguar's current line-up consists of  luxury sedans such as the XJ models, the executive and fresh XF as a replacement of the S-type, the burgeois X-Type and the sporty XK.

2017 Jaguar XE Consumer Reviews

35t R-Sport 4dr Sedan AWD (3.0L 6cyl S/C 8A)
Great car! Still has jaguar quirks
It's been a year and the car is still great! Some things are still minor annoyances (can't change presets from steering wheel, no heated seat button-screen only) but is drives beautifully ive owned the 35t for a week and if you're looking for a high performance sport sedan, this is your car! The only complaints are limited to some of the interior functionality: Front parking sears don't work unless you push the parking button each time you're getting ready to park Steering wheel Radio controls are very limited Presets are by band (am/fm/Xm) and can't be combined Heads up display is very basic when compared to other models and doesn't even project well Auto stop start setting defaults back to active every time you start the car Phone controls limited from steering wheel That said, floor the gas and the problems are forgotten! Also the voice recognition for phone dialing is faster and more accurate than Siri.

35t R-Sport 4dr Sedan (3.0L 6cyl S/C 8A)
BMW and Audi Take Note
After months of research and serious consideration of the latest competitive offerings from Audi and BMW, I pulled the trigger on a V6 XE R-Sport two months ago. So far, no regrets. Jag has nailed the balance between athleticism and luxury, despite having 19" rims. The car is quiet and rides impressively well given the level of handling it offers. Styling, while subjective, is in my opinion above and beyond what the competition is offering. The Cadillac ATS has a better looking interior, but an inferior infotainment system. The Jag might have some cheapened aspects to the interior materials that are a let down, but it's still a very cool and rather unique setup. Passengers take note, and feedback has been very positive. People often comment that it "looks so luxurious," a comment that catches me off guard every time. The brakes have major bite, and the V6 is capable of acceleration that at times is borderline scary. It's as rewarding to drive in the twistiest as any vehicle I've driven. Body lean is non-existent, even when you're pushing traction limits. Quite impressive. I believe this is the best looking, and best performing vehicle in it's class. You can go buy a BMW 340i, get another 1mpg and 0.2 seconds shaved off the run to 60mph. It's a great machine, but you'll also pay about $ 5k more, and look like every other car on the road. The Jag isn't perfect, but it's a lot of car for the money and backed by the best warranty and best dealership service in the business.

35t R-Sport 4dr Sedan (3.0L 6cyl S/C 8A)
Love my first jag
I was worried ordering this car and then waiting 4 months, but the xe is one bad a** car. It was worth the wait. Its really fun to drive, the steering, suspension, and quick acceleration satisfy all the urges. Its easy to say this is the best car Ive ever had in this class. I was also surprised by the upgraded media and screen package, i thought it would be worthless like most but its not a tesla screen but definitely an upgrade and a lovely wide screen. I think the only issue i have is the back isnt incredibly spacious but its enough to fit my car seat back there so im happy enough.

35t R-Sport 4dr Sedan (3.0L 6cyl S/C 8A)
A loyal 3-Series Fan...Converted to the cat...
I recently replaced my e90 BMW 328i and have been a loyal BMW fan for years. Since time began to approach for a replacement I basically assumed I'd just walk into my dealership and pick out my next 3 Series. This was especially true since the wonderful turbo-charged straight-six of the 340i was within my budget. But, here I sit with my new Jaguar XE R-Sport 35t and have no regrets. This car is in an entirely different class from the competition when it comes to driving enjoyment. It's a tight nimble car with great steering feel that is exceptionally fun to drive in all situations. The supercharged 3.0L V6 pushes it's power to the wheels eagerly and immediately at any speed and the 8-speed ZF transmission is wonderfully responsive, especially when the car is in it's Dynamic setting. I drove the BMW 340i with the M-sport package, the new 2017 Audi A4, Cadillac CTS with the twin-turbo V6, and the Lexus IS F-Sport before I made my decision and none of these cars could match the Jag for the overall driving package. Some could best it in one area or another but the overall package of power, precision, fun-to-drive factor, and refinement couldn't be topped. Add to that the fact that the Jaguar is beautiful both inside and out, equipped with enough technology to at least be in the middle of this pack of cars, and rides smooth and quiet and the decision was an easy one.

"Very Comfortable Vehicle"
I have owned this car for about 2 1/2 years. It the most comfortable cars I have ever owned. I can drive it for hours and my back never gets sore or uncomfortable. The seats adjust to many different settings and there are 4 memory positions. I have had very few issues with it. About a year ago, I had the O2 sensor replaced and about three months ago, I had a camera replaced. No big deal, covered under warranty (50,000 miles). This has a 4 cylinder turbo diesel engine. I get approximately 43 miles per gallon combined. On the highway, I get about 50 miles per gallon. Only problem is my golf clubs don't fit in the trunk without talking out my driver and 3 wood. I need to put the clubs and bag in at an angle. Otherwise I love this car.

"Great warranty, can buy one used under market."
Fun to drive, fast, quiet and comfortable on long road trips. As will all luxury cars you need to take proper care of it. I turns heads and always gets a comment as it’s not as common as others in its class.

"neck snapping fast"
This is a small car with a super (not turbo) charger. It goes fast, stops fast and is stable around the sharpest turns - at speed. Unlike the BMWs it doesnt need to pipe the sound of the exhaust back through the speakers. Since its small and very sleek for a sedan its not that easy to get in or out. Depending on the model the steering wheel just goes in and out, not up and down. You raise or lower the seat instead. The number of options that are standard are too numerous to mention but just to mention a few: lane control, audible warnings for speed, automatic high beams, wide angle camera(s), radar in front and back and a lot more. This is a Great car at a ridiculously low price (I got mine for 35K) although I might make up the price difference in speeding tickets. Oh - and the car turns heads. Im an ALFA lover but Ive also had an XJ and XK8. This car is age appropriate for me and its easily the fastest, best handling car that Ive driven.Read less

If sensibility and civility were the only things that mattered, the 2019 Jaguar XE would be in trouble, since it puts driving enjoyment and its high-fashion appearance on the highest pedestal.
