This problem started with a misfire in cyl 1 then moved all over the motor. It culminated in the motor shaking the clip for the wire harness coming loose and melting/grounding at the 5 injector. I threw random codes all over the place which only made the Syncro problem worse, which lead to vacuum leaks and an acute case of hydrocarbon poisoning. Can't say there was really a diagnosis as it was obvious, after solving the bazillion other problems, that this would need replaced. This was a sad week+ in the life of a 34 yr old Ranger fan.
